I am hoping to create a LRC web page and update the Browse feature of Alex - Laura
I am hoping to have at least half of my lessons by the end of the year be interactive Smartboard lessons.- Danae
My technology goal is more personal than integrative--I'd like to become more versed in specific programs especially Excel and Powerpoint. Although I use them now, my knowledge feels too basic. - Judy
To use iWeb with 7th grade students as an electronic portfolio for their LA experience - Marek
Work with 6th, 8th and Marek Dzianott's gifted class in creating electronic portfolios to show growth in learning- Helene
I would like to learn all there is to learn about my MacBook since I have been a PC user for so many years and to create more interactive smart board lessons. - Marcy
I would like to learn and utilize MacBook and its software for creating, displaying and publishing student work, such as PowerPoint or iMovie or iWeb. Students successfully used PowerPoint to create and present work including presentations as Cabinet members to Barack Obama and authentic 1800s news journals. - Bruce
I would like to include wiki and quia more and then go to iweb - Rhonda
More interactive, student-centered lessons rather than teacher-centered presentational uses of technology. -Mary
Get students up and running on a number of progams, such as PowerPoint (LA), and Comic Life (LA). Barb
I would like to implement a reflective online portfolio with LA students to demonstrate growth - Elizabeth
My goal is to teach students more about technology, help them get comfortable with school web resources and be independent, and to help those that are frustrated with typing and technology love it! - Lindy
5. How does the access to the additional technology help you with integration?
1. We are so fortunate to be blessed with such state of the art technology when other districts cannot even offer basic tools such as books. We should never take that for granted. -Mary
6. What additional support do you need to effectively use the technology tools you have?
During PLC, could job alike /grade alike teachers collaborate to create technology integrated lessons that will be used by both teachers for common lessons and assessments
During the LITE Middle School meeting, have different modules for 15 minute modules for people to walk through ie: small tech fair to learn various skills that would help teachers be more efficient in using their laptop and ways to help integrate technology into their laptop.
What are the expectations of documentation for meetings and professional development?
Advanced Smartboard training
training, training, and more training!
I'm not sure when the ceiling projectors will be installed, but I will be able to better utilize my document reader when that technology is available to me. Mary
Ellen R's room still has her Smart Board in the box. Once this is installed, our GL team can take turns swapping classrooms so we can create some SmartBoard lessons. Mary
More training. Barb
